Welcome to Our Sound’s website! Our Sound is the only 5C zine dedicated to centering the silenced and marginalized voices at the Claremont Colleges.
Twice a year, we send out a call for submissions with a specific theme. From self love to resistance, our themes target the voices of the silenced. Community members submit their stories of love, pain and self-acceptance. The art we receive grapples with building communities in hostile environments and loving ourselves unconditionally.
Our aspiration is to act as a platform for silenced narratives. Join us and share your truth. These issues are for you.
